A horse doesn't care how much you know, until he knows how much you care.

Linda Dorie-Arakelian, Vice President
Linda grew up living next to Lake Oswego Hunt Club and "hot walked" the polo ponies for her first job. She graduated from PSU and started her career, but her heart was always seeking an equine-related business opportunity.
After two years of research and planning, AJ’s Stafford Feed & Pet Supplies opened on May 17, 2001. After over 15 years in business, Linda loves being in a place where she can talk about horses, what organic feed is best for your baby chicks, birdseed varieties and recommend what product to use on your dog that just received a direct hit from the neighborhood skunk.
Linda owns a small barn where she trains her young horses in Dressage, Jumping, Trail and Eventing.
Rosemary Liniger - Treasurer
Rosemary grew up always wanting a horse but her dad, having made a living horseback in his early life, never understood why a girl would want a pleasure horse. At 40 she bought her first horse and proved to her dad what a pleasure owning a horse was. Since that first ride Rosemary continues to compete in various disciplines including Mountain Trail and Cowboy Dressage and rides a horse that challenges her every day she throws a leg over the saddle.
When her first horse Sky was unable to be trail ridden any longer, she found him a summer job at Happy Trails Riding Center and that summer job taught her the importance of giving back. Rosemary spent several years working on Happy Trails’ board of directors, focusing on fund raising, training volunteers, exposing and introducing the public to the importance of equestrian therapeutic riding.
Retiring from the athletic apparel industry last year, Rosemary is continuing to train her horse Ricochet and looking for new adventures for the two of them to embrace. Before her dad passed, he admitted to understanding the pleasure she found in her horse – he had spent nearly 20 years of doling out his unique cowboy wisdom to help her solve problems and being proud of her wins no matter the place.
Lynn lives in Eagle Creek, Oregon, with her husband, Dan, and their Haflinger and Gypsy Vanner, plus three cats and a dog.
Lynn and Dan own L&D Trailers, the Oregon dealership for Equi-Trek, a favorite horse transport of notable Olympians and World Cup Champions. Equi-Trek offers the highest quality products, with construction that emphasizes safety and comfort for both horse and rider.
L&D Trailers is a sponsor of the annual Equus Film Festival and is active in supporting the Oregon equine community. In fact, L&D Trailers has pledged a portion of every horse trailer sale to the Oregon Equine Foundation!
New board members, Lisa Burton and Denise Crane will be featured here.
